The Architect Behind the Code

Nicholas Buchanan's journey began in the 6th grade, self‑taught and driven by curiosity. He mastered QBasic before moving into object‑oriented programming, laying the foundation for decades of experience across languages and frameworks. His skills grew into graphics design, web design, logic design, and advanced programming — not through formal degrees, but through relentless practice and real‑world problem solving. While he is pursuing a BS today, his career proves that skill and vision often outpace credentials; after all, many of the greatest minds launched million‑dollar industries without degrees.

Under his belt is a two‑year internship with the Charles County Board of Education, where he completed Honors Java and AP Computer Science with distinction. That foundation expanded into mastery of Java, C#, C++, and scripting languages, enabling versatile development across platforms and cementing his reputation as a programmer who learns fast and builds with precision.

Nicholas's career has spanned diverse domains: managing high‑traffic game servers and online communities, contributing to FDIC Bank Fraud Investigations, and delivering customer service that sharpened his people‑first leadership. Each chapter added precision, empathy, and resilience to his toolkit. His entrepreneurial venture, FauxC, proved that vision and execution could coexist — acquiring, repairing, and reselling computer systems with expert craftsmanship.
